Hit the flow state today. Not just a catchy title for a great Warren Miller film, but that point where the words are flowing, the scenes are laying out before your mind, and you just get words down. Only a thousand or so today, plus some minor edits to get caught up on the story. It also got me back in the groove of the story, so more tomorrow.
Nothing like a few ski days to start the holidays, plus a slack day or two to get rested up.
This was the view from Mt. Washington yesterday. There was 4cm of fresh powder, as well as groomed runs. By the afternoon, it was actually starting to become slarvy too. Something for everyone.
For the skiers out there, to paraphrase Conan:
What is best in life:
To crush your powder stashes, see them skied out before you, and hear the lamentation of those at work!
I'll just leave you all with that little gem.
